Pratima Pandey is a NIFT (New Delhi) post-graduate in Fashion design. The label “Prama by Pratima Pandey” at New Delhi specializes in fusion garb with Indian Sensibility. The emphasis of the label is on the natural fabric and natural dying techniques also designing for a cause by encouraging Craftsmanship and sustainability. 

Inspired by most affectionate kunal basu and Aparna Sen’s story “The Japanese Wife” is a tribute to relationships mapped out over a landscape distanced from all accepted and recognized notions of love and marriage. Pratima pandey creates complicated elegance
e in her S/S-11 collection. 

A modern interpretation for today’s women of the imposing dimensions and faultless proportions, harmoniously integrated in the unique relationship are seen in the conceived drapes. The prêt women’s wear line resorts to techniques of reconstruction using draped cotton fabric. Red and white are the two colors dominate the range which plays symbolic to the idea of simplicity and faith, transparency and purity. Simple garments superimposed with Chikankari to demonstrate new associations.
