Future of committed fashion.

# inspiration : what is the future of committed fashion?

I went late but while I heard them talk I realized that few points where interesting which the experts pointed out

Laurianne melliere - plume redaction
Kim Hou - about the worker
Ram trabelsi - clothparency

1. Transparency to the buyers - about the product and how it's made . The ethical practices followed.
2. Fact checking
4. What's behind the product
5. Design thinking
6. Untapped minority

All points brought to the notice were very interesting. However I feel transparency should become a mandate for the business of fashion. Honesty should lead in this sphere. Also what are the facts that the companies are claiming and delivering. Who checks them or else let it be open to consumers to decide with the fact. It's important to know how the products where made / who made them and in what working conditions.  This is one areas and aspects that need attention. As per the workers they told that a constant effort has been put to reach out to the workers to have an open mind to the process of design thinking. This I feel is a very sensitive area because designers have a very big responsibility to guide the customer to a new direction to sustainable fashion. The designers are the new leaders and role models for eco friendly clothes becoming fast adopted by the masses. We all have to play our roles and with responsibility. Like worker getting fair wages and good working condition to makings eco friendly clothes. For a thought process to flourish we should be  sensitive about the repercussions of the product that is being made at every level. Changing a workers role is okay only if they are equipped to take on the new role. In the new time and age we need new rules which can be strangely implemented willingly by everyone for a common goal to save the earth.
